Cook Children's Health Care System needs to create and design new mobile applications, maintain and improve existing features on existing applications, and work with marketing, IT, and operational teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of patients, members, parents, staff, and care providers.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience of developing application on the Android Platform is required.
- 3+ years’ experience of using Android Studio and Kotlin.
- Experience of using Java, mobile testing and Firebase or similar debugging tools is a plus.
- 1+ years’ experience using BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber) or TDD is preferred.
- Experience of using database and android.database is a plus.
- Experience of working with continuous integration and continuous deployment is preferred.
- Experience of Apple iOS platform development is preferred.
Responsibilities

- serve as one of the teams’ technical expert on Android development, deployment, and maintenance

- address problems relating to systems integration and compatibility using the latest technology
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related technical field). If degree is in non-technical subject candidate must have additional 3 years technical experience.
- 4 years in mobile development experience
- 1+ years’ experience of working in a Health Care or Health IT environment preferred.
- 8 years’ overall development experience is preferred.
- Mobile development certification is a plus.
