Carnival Cruise Line is looking to enhance the guest experience and streamline operations through the development of new features and improvements within their mobile applications (Hub iOS/Android app). This involves working on UI enhancements, performance optimizations, and integrating APIs to support real-time guest experiences, ultimately influencing the mobile experience of thousands of guests.

Requirements

  • Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.
  • Strong foundation in Swift/Kotlin, SwiftUI/Jetpack Compose and iOS/Android frameworks; problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with Xcode/Android Studio, SwiftUI/Jetpack Compose, Git, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and testing new iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI or Android features using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
  • Debug and resolve issues to improve app stability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
  • Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Support integration of RESTful APIs and backend services.

Other

  • Hybrid program based in Miami, Florida.
  • Students must be available for the entire duration of the program (May – August 2026) and willing to work a hybrid schedule.
  • Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
