Carnival Cruise Line is looking to solve the business problem of identifying and nurturing top talent for future roles within the company through their 2026 Summer Internship Program, specifically seeking a Mobile Developer Intern to contribute to building high-quality applications that serve guests across different ships.

Requirements

  • Coursework or experience in programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, C-Sharp, Typescript).
  • An interest in mobile development (iOS, Android).
  • Hands-on projects with Android studio or Xcode.
  • Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as React native, Compose Multiplatform, or MAUI.
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools.
  • Curiosity about or experience with AI tools for software development.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to real-world mobile applications that serves our guest across different ships.
  • Work on projects across iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks (Android/iOS, Ionic, or MAUI).
  • Help design, build, and test new features that directly impact guests and crew members.
  • Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance in mobile apps.
  • Experiment with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and innovation.
  • Present your progress and project outcomes to the team, showcasing your contributions and impact.
  • Exposure to technologies that helps us keep the ships running with offline mobile capabilities.
