Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience in either iOS or Android development (depth in one platform required)
- Strong understanding of mobile development principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience setting team goals, tracking metrics, and making data-driven decisions
- Experience with Swift/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android
- Familiarity with GraphQL and modern mobile service architectures
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4-6 engineers (iOS, Android) focused on the origination and transaction components of the Rocket product
- Collaborate closely with product management and design partners to define and execute the mobile product roadmap
- Drive planning, goal setting, and metrics ownership while fostering a data-fluent culture within your team
- Empower engineers to innovate through experimentation while maintaining high standards for code quality and user experience
- Develop strategies to dramatically reduce mortgage closing times through improved mobile experiences
- Champion native app adoption and optimize task completion rates throughout the origination process
- Balance technical leadership with people management to ensure both product excellence and team growth
