The Glassdoor Test Engineering team is looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer in Test Intern to solve problems and build optimized test automation solutions.
Requirements
- One year of programming experience in Java, Python or other programming languages
- Familiarity with Selenium, Appium and JUnit,PyTest/TestNG is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with Linux, SQL, performance tools, bash scripts and version control systems such as git are also a plus
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through creative test solutions
- Collaborate with the team to discover new ways of creating and implementing tests by identifying gaps
- Write code, complete programming projects, and perform testing on software
Other
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
