TikTok is seeking talented software engineers to build the next-generation of camera effects using the latest AI technologies, to ignite joy, foster creativity, and spur new trends among its billion+ global community.
Requirements
- Experience in iOS or Android mobile development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Prior internship experience in mobile development.
- Passionate about TikTok, augmented reality, as well as creating the most fun, original and creative ideas and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build mobile features to support video creation and AI effects on the TikTok platform.
- Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver a high-quality user experience.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of mobile features for a large user base.
Other
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or master’s program in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Available to work for 12 weeks in Summer 2026.
- Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
- 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year)
