Requirements
- Experience with Torque qsub and Slurm batch.
- Unix and HPC experience
- Minimum IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or CCNA-Sec)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to develop and run simulations on a High-Performance Computing (HPC) System to forecast Chemical and Radiological hazard areas.
- Use modeling and simulation tools to include the Operational Multi-Scale Environment Model with grid Adaptivity (OMEGA).
- Serve as senior manager/consultant and provide for overall management, direction and control of resources and activities for the Chemical Hazard Area Modeling Program (CHAMPS)
- Switch the existing schedule and resource management from Torque qsub to Slurm batch.
- Support tactical and strategic planning associated with delivery of services and capabilities
- Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers
- Apply proper security measures to safeguard government IT infrastructure
