Radiance Technologies is looking for a junior software engineer to join their Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team to explore and develop solutions for AFRL, NASIC, and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community projects. The role involves evolving existing M&S frameworks and incorporating new scenarios and models.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-years C++, C, Python, or Java development experience
- Minimum of 3-years software development experience
- Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners, etc.
- Experience developing software for Linux platforms
- Experience following agile development processes
- Experience working with modeling and simulation tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE
- Experience with virtual machine and container management platforms such as WSL2 and Docker
Responsibilities
- evolve an existing Modeling & Simulation frameworks (AFSIM) and its codebase based upon customer needs
- incorporate scenarios and models into AFSIM
- performing testing and verification
- Modern Agile software development practices is expected to be used
- develop solutions in support of AFRL, NASIC, and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community projects
- work with a diverse team of software engineers and analysts
