Radiance Technologies is looking for a software engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) by developing and refining authoritative C++ models, scenarios, and critical mission threads within the AFSIM framework.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year software development experience
- Minimum of 1 year C++, C, Python, or Java development experience
- Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git/SVN, Jira, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners, etc.
- Experience with the AFSIM M&S Framework
- Experience applying object-oriented design patterns within software applications
- Experience with integrated development environments such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, etc.
Responsibilities
- developing and refining authoritative C++ models, scenarios, and critical mission threads to best support our customer's needs
- Tasking will be managed according to modern Agile software development practices
- directly integrated with the customer team (along with other Radiance developers) supporting model and scenario development tasks in the AFSIM framework
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience following Agile development processes
- Familiarity with DoD security practices
