Develop efficient and effective software for clients, from vision to production-ready system, in an agile environment at Booz Allen
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
- 3+ years of experience working with C++
- Experience with modeling and simulation frameworks, including AFSIM
- Experience with simulation models, including radar, sensors, or aircraft
- Experience with pre- or post-processing scripting for large data sets
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience with data modeling architecture
Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system
- Analyze the environment to ensure that solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment
- Master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements
- Create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
- Write source code for new applications, or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications
- Use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions
- Develop systems to create change for the better

- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field
- Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Part-time or full-time availability, with at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis for benefits eligibility
