Requirements
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
- Software Exposure: ADS, HFSS critical, (FEM, Momentum, AWR, Cadence, Dynamic Link) Preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong collaboration skills
- Self-Starter with good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design of multiple functional blocks including Power amplifier, LNA, switch or acoustic filters
- Meet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
- Produce designs with increasing complexity from customer demands for LTE, carrier aggregation, multiple antennas, filters, and power management
- Adapt to new customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality
- Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
- Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data
- Take customer specifications/block diagrams and floorplan/optimize module solution that meets size, performance, packaging, and footprint requirements
