Roanoke Insurance Group Inc, a division of Munich Re Specialty Global Markets, North America (MRSGM N.A.), is seeking to grow its operations by hiring a Regional Product Manager, Surety Bonds to oversee the New York service teams and manage a book of business.
Requirements
- 3-5 years Surety Bond or equivalent industry experience
- Above average computer skills, including Microsoft office and other software programs relevant to our business including, but not limited to, FastBond™, BIPS, Clarity/RTS Claims, OnBase and Epic
- Above average problem-solving and prioritizing skills
- Above average mathematical skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day operations of the New York service teams, ensuring that staff is responsive to clients and that underwriting authority is exercised properly.
- Ensure that all bond-related processes are handled timely and correctly, i.e. billing, imaging, terminations and client service
- Service own book of business and national accounts, as required
- Handle direct sales for house accounts and call-ins as appropriate
- Work with producers to service existing accounts and bring in new business
- Ensure that all clients are familiar with and utilize FastBond to its maximum benefit
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, underwriters and claims staff
Other
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- New York P&C License
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision making (judgment) skills
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Detail-oriented
- Represent the New York service team at client industry functions
- Provide training, guidance and supervision as needed to the New York office staff
- Prepare employee evaluations and recommend salary adjustments.
- Interact and coordinate activities with other department managers and senior leadership to maintain existing business and develop new business
- Coordinate client service during vacations and other time off.
- Perform other duties as required and projects as assigned from time to time
- Maintain continuing educational courses as appropriate
