Infosys is seeking a MS SQL Database Developer to interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
Requirements
- Experience in Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure SQL databases, T-SQL scripting and query optimization and Backup, restore, and high availability strategies
- Experience in Database design & Modeling like Normalization, indexing, and schema design, Entity-relationship modeling and Data integrity and constraints
- Strong knowledge in Performance Tuning-Query performance analysis, Execution plans and indexing strategies and Resource utilization monitoring
- Knowledge on Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Query Store, Alerts and diagnostics for database health
- Experience in Power shell, Azure CLI scripting.
- Experience with additional cloud-native Azure technologies i.e. Event Grid, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, App Service, Key Vault, Logic Apps, ARM Templates
- Kubernetes and/or Azure Kubernetes Service experience is preferred
