Hexure is looking to solve the business problem of transforming the insurance and financial services industry through powerful end-to-end sales solutions by managing and improving the performance and results of an engineering pod.
Requirements
- 5+ years developing C-Sharp .NET and MSSQL applications on Azure.
- Some Razor and/or React development experience preferred
- Exceptional understanding of data modeling and backend database architectures for large horizontally scalable multi-tenant applications
- Some experience with alternative data platform technologies highly preferred (NoSQL, Mongo, Couchbase, Postgres, Elastic Search, Redis, etc. )
- Good grasp of testing concept including Automation, test case creation and can drive and be a thought leader on testing necessities for your POD.
- Experience with SSO, authentication, authorization, IAM techniques, tools and software including Azure native, and 3rd party tools / platforms such as OKTA, Duende or equivalent
- Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging skills on highly complex SaaS applications in a distributed services environment
Responsibilities
- You will be tech lead and scrum master for a team of 5-7 US and IN based engineers building Saas applications on .NET, C-Sharp, Azure, Razor, and React.
- Helps resolve issues, risks and barriers to development and testing within and across pods – managing code conflicts, code merges, release readiness, test coverage and metrics working closely with the Product Owner.
- Part of the Release and Tier 3 Production Support rotation, managing Production rollouts and triaging/troubleshooting the most complex, complicated customer / application issues in concert with Arch and Dev Ops partners.
- Helps prioritize backlogs and grooming, priorities and dependencies within and across teams, mentorship to understand the requirements and meeting the stated objectives.
- Provides end-to-end governance of the pod.
- Ensures the team delivers software within the accepted quality standards by facilitating a working “definition of done” (DoD) for Agile stories within the team.
- Will be responsible for completing own development tickets while ensuring delivery of the team.
Other
- Provides leadership to the pod and builds and leads a culture of accountability to meet business objectives and goals.
- Manages stakeholder relationships across the interacting entities with the pod.
- 5-7 years’ experience leading teams.
- Ability to lead and design with AI/ML technologies in mind with a strong grasp of AI principles.
- Deep knowledge of Agile Scrum SDLC Strong verbal and written communication skills.
