CCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator Intern to learn and understand current systems, architectures, integrations, and technologies and how they interact within the data services framework. The intern will assist in non-production and production database environments, data integration solutions, and data warehouse environments and find solutions.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Data Architecture concepts and standards.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) concepts and standards.
- Experience with SQL.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintenance of logical and physical databases.
- Mirroring, SQL Reporting, Backups / Restores / Failovers.
- Performance tuning, optimization, stored procedures, triggers.
- Participate in data modeling (Conceptual/Logical/Physical) and other data initiatives addressing both new and existing systems.
- Work closely with developers to provide data services to existing and new applications.
- ETL (extract, transform and load) design, development, and support for moving large data volumes from various sources into the various destinations after significant cleansing, transformation, and processing.
- Create complex reports using SQL Server Reporting and Analysis Services.

- Working towards a four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems.

- This is a full-time, remote position, on first shift for summer 2026.
