CAE is looking to solve the problem of developing interactive training programs and courseware in support of aviation training requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks/libraries (e.g., CreateJS, React, Angular, or similar)
- Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or comparable tools for interactive simulation development
- Proficiency in the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Familiarity with basic Web development/layout
- Proficiency with multimedia authoring and design tools (Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Experience with SCORM and/or xAPI standards and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Firefox
Responsibilities
- Works with assigned experts to develop ISD products through a process that includes review and research of government furnished materials (GFMs)
- Assists in development of multiple levels of training tasks and products against training requirements in accordance with instructional design processes
- Develops training materials in a variety of media
- Design, produce, and integrate 2D/3D graphics, animations, audio, and video assets for interactive applications
- Implement interactivity and simulations using industry-standard technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Unity/Unreal, SCORM/xAPI-compliant tools)
- Employs industry standard software and formats technical documents to a specific standard; imports supporting graphic content and prepares for distribution in the classroom
- Reviews and edits training materials to depict proper grammar and visual appearance
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design/Development, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing interactive multimedia training or eLearning content preferred
- Experience with aviation or defense-related training programs is highly desirable
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work overtime as required
