DreamWorks Animation is looking for a Music Intern to assist the Music Department with administrative duties, music submissions, and technical processes, to support the production of high-quality, award-winning animated films and series.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of pop culture, with familiarity of current artists and their work
- Some familiarity with DISCO and other music-related tools/platforms preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- assisting various members of the team with administrative duties
- downloading and categorizing new music submissions
- miscellaneous tasks as needed
- learning the technical process of how the department processes cue sheets
- managing assets
- handling music publishing requests
Other
- Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work in Glendale, CA
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Demonstrates strong passion for music in film/tv
