United States - New Jersey, UBS Wealth Management Americas is looking to drive client success through strategic mutual fund solutions and optimize service and product delivery

Requirements

  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds and money market funds, including market trends, regulatory landscapes, and investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in investment product management, encompassing the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch and ongoing management, with a focus on innovation and market differentiation.
  • Proven capability in complex contract management, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and optimization of financial and legal agreements.
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and big data aggregation and analysis
  • Familiarity with Morningstar Workstation is a plus
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the domestic and offshore mutual fund and money market fund business as the primary subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to the Advisory Sales Desk, advisory program teams, Service Group, CIO, Advanced Planning, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Drive the resolution of complex trading and operational challenges
  • Strategically manage relationships with over 450 mutual fund providers, partnering with Legal to manage the contract lifecycle, including creation, negotiation and execution of distribution agreement
  • Develop and maintain marketing, disclosure, training, and educational materials, including managing internal and public website content.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product awareness among Financial Advisors and clients and explore new product offerings with fund partners to support business growth and CIO alignment.
  • Manage a suite of projects to enhance operational efficiency, improve the FA and client experience, and unlock revenue and cost saving opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and industry developments and lead the implementation of enhancements in collaboration with the Public Policy Office and internal control partners.

Other

  • Ideally 5+ years experience in the financial services industry, ideally with a focus on investment products and/or program management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with an MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven record of thriving in fast-paced environments and navigating complex challenges effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for clearly and persuasively articulating complex financial information and building strong relationships.
