Medtronic is seeking a Nav & Robotics Specialist to provide clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to existing and potential customers, and to build and maintain solid customer relationships, in order to champion healthcare access and equity for all, specifically in the area of Spinal Surgical Robotics platforms.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Associate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- RT and/or MRI certification
- Prior experience with Image Guided Systems
- Prior experience with MRI
- Operating room experience
Responsibilities
- Works and collaborates with regional robotics teams, Spinal Sales, and neurosurgery teams to identify prospective new users for Robotics and applicable technology-enabled procedures
- Supports more complex, new image-guided products and applications to physicians and hospital staff
- Provides input on new product development based on in-field experience
- Coordinates, supports, and collaborates with Robotics Area Managers and other Surgical Synergy team members for on-site installations with our customers
- Represents Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance
- Maintains system hardware and software to maximize system performance
- Educates and trains physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to our technology-enabled procedures

- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to travel, with approximately 50% of the time spent driving within assigned territory and potential overnight travel
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate with peers and co-workers
