CACI is seeking an individual to perform Data Recording in Combat System laboratory environments in support of test events conducted at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) primarily for the Aegis Weapon Systems (AWS) and other Naval combat systems
Requirements
- Knowledge of RedHat Linux or similar
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) configuration and setup
- Programming languages C, Ada, and CMS-2
- Experience with Aegis Combat Systems
- Familiarity with data structure analysis/data dictionary updating
- Understanding of Combat System laboratory environments
Responsibilities
- Record test event data in a variety of Combat System laboratories utilizing multiple electronic methods and media types, e.g.: CFast Cards, Memory Cards, Optical Disks, USBHDs, 4MM Tapes, DVD’s
- Transfer data to required destinations via electronic and physical mail methods
- Receive, Send, Archive, Restore, Track, and Document incoming and outgoing data on NSWCDD servers
- Evaluate, analyze, and update tools used to collect data (scripts and software program suite)
- Provide additional support in other tasking such as: Data Recording User Manual documentation generation
- Data Management tasking on NSWCDD servers
- Configuration Management for Aegis Combat System elements
Other
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, OR 3+ years of experience with Aegis Combat Systems in lieu of B.S. degree
- DoD Secret clearance must be obtainable and maintainable
- Willing to work overnight non-standard work hours
- Willing to work in a team environment and independently
- Willing to travel to other Navy/DoD Facilities occasionally
