The Boeing Company is looking for an NDI Quality Test Specialist to perform inspections on the wing structures of the 777X in the new composite facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of these advanced composite structures, which represent the future of Boeing's commercial aircraft.
Requirements
- Certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 1+ Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 or 3 in Ultrasonics (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training)
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis on non-destructive inspection software
Responsibilities
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
- Develops procedures and processes
- Conducts inspections with Automated robotic equipment, analyzes data, and decides on acceptance or rejection of wing structures.
- Documents and communicates failures with Non-conformance records.
- Provides feedback on adverse trends.
- Conducts certification preparation training and testing.
