Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking a Mid-Level NDT Quality Test Specialist to perform non-destructive inspection and testing on company products, ensuring quality and assisting with corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- NAS 410 NDT Level 2 Qualifications with a minimum of Computed / Digital Radiography (RT) along with at least one of the following NDE disciplines (Preferably both ET & UT): Ultrasonic (UT), Eddy Current (ET), Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT)
- 3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- 3+ years of DR/CR X-Ray experience and documented training
- Current Radiation Safety State Card or ASNT IRRSP
- 3+ years of experience using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
Responsibilities
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
- Develops procedures and processes.
- Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
- Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
- Provides feedback on adverse trends.
- Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
- Conducts certification preparation training.
Other
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position will require up to 10% travel.
- Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
