The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced NDT Quality Test Specialist - Radiography Test to develop, conduct, improve, and correct non-destructive inspection or test techniques, methods, and processes, focusing on analyzing data, documenting findings, and communicating results and recommendations for their Tube Duct Reservoir Center team.
Requirements
- Current or prior (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 Certification in Radiographic Testing (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training)
- 3+ years of experience in Radiographic Non-Destructive Evaluation Techniques and NDE equipment
- Ability to set up specialized nondestructive test or measurement equipment
- Ability to program CNC motion controlled robotic Xray systems
- Ability to analyze routine test, inspections, or statistical data to determine product conformity
- Experience with film and/or digital interpretation of welds, braze, swage, and/or casting products.
- Experience with conventional film, digital detector array, and/or computed tomography processes.
Responsibilities
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
- Develops techniques for radiographic inspection
- Performs tests or inspections and collects data
- Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations
- Provides feedback on adverse trends
- Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products
- Provides guidance and supervision to Trainees
Other
- Ability to physically lift minimum of 30 lbs
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations as they relate to NDT disciplines, procedures and functions.
- A strong ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences and be a self-starter.
- Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations.
