The company is looking to hire a Necropsy Scientific Researcher to support collaborations with research scientists and pathologists in drug discovery and development by performing, developing, and advancing necropsy laboratory capabilities and services.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of industry experience; specifically performing diagnostic rodent necropsies.
- Thorough understanding & proficiency for working in an In vivo research setting.
Responsibilities
- support collaborations with research scientists and pathologists who discover and develop drugs for the treatment of various therapeutic areas.
- provide the scientific and technical expertise at the benchtop necessary to support necropsy activities independently and achieve success for the laboratory.
- drive scientific development, research and may present these advances at the departmental level.
Other
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Animal Science or similar field - Preferred
- ALAT & LAT AALAS Certifications – Preferred
- Record of productivity as well as relevant professional experience.
