The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) is partnering with the Office of Higher Education (OHE) to modernize the aging webservice layers between the data marts/data cube and reporting software in public analytics reports.
Requirements
- Strong background in .NET technology
- Strong SQL background/experience
- Strong background in JSON
- Ability to read a WebFocus procedure and translate into .NET
Responsibilities
- The replacement .NET JSON webservices will match the existing WebFOCUS webservice so that no content loading changes are required by the HTML 5 developer
- Replace WebFOCUS Data consumption with SQL Stored Procedures
- Replace WebFOCUS static JSON filter caching with .NET
- Replace WebFOCUS webservice to return static JSON filter with .NET
- Replace WebFOCUS webservice to return dynamic JSON filter with .NET
- Replace WebFOCUS webservice to return dynamic JSON page data with .NET
- Replace WebFOCUS Download XLSX request with .NET
Other
- Provide admin panel / admin resources, with ability to run caching jobs, check on server health, logging, etc
- Provide technical documentation on the solution
- Provide knowledge transfer
- Excellent technical documentation skills
