Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for interns to assist in developing and deploying automated infrastructure solutions, building scalable and responsive systems, and monitoring/maintaining automated processes to ensure reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and deploying automated infrastructure solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform.
- Build scalable and responsive systems using event-driven frameworks and tools like StackStorm.
- Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated processes to ensure reliability and performance.
- Write and maintain Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and DevOps engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Build and update documentation for automation processes, tools, and systems.

- Undergraduate student completing an Information Technology-related degree between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven to get results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
