L3Harris is seeking to improve its network engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy, comprehensiveness, and ease of understanding for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, to support the Network Operations Center (NOC) and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and the OSI Model (L1 through L4).
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
- Interest in LTE and VPN technologies.
- Experience with technical writing or documentation in a technical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with documentation tools and software.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed network engineering documentation, including diagrams, configuration files, and process workflows.
- Support the NOC by ensuring all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with NOC engineers to gather information and update existing documentation to reflect the current network infrastructure and operational procedures.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices documentation.
- Participate in periodic reviews and audits of documentation to ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Provide documentation support for network changes, incidents, and problem resolutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of NOC operations.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate technical information into clear, concise documentation.
- Ability to actively engage with team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies used in network documentation.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
