ASI is revolutionizing industries with autonomous robotics solutions and needs a Network Engineering Manager to design, deploy, and support their field network infrastructure for high availability, security, and optimal performance to ensure the integrity and safety of these solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with network and radio communication infrastructure components (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Rajent).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with firewall management, VPNs, and network security tools.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communication protocols
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, VM Certified Professional (VCP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and support ASI's field network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Monitor network security, performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, while assisting in VPN and firewall management.
- Implement network security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to optimize network reliability and security.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Lead a small team overseeing realizing our networking, system operations and system administration needs.

- At least 5 years of direct networking and/or system administration/operation experience.
