Cboe Global Markets is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Intern to assist with servicing trading firms and partners, monitoring tools and queues, and completing projects related to supporting their customer-facing environment. The role involves operational tasks and network engineering duties, including command-line configuration and datacenter connectivity.
Requirements
- Familiar with Infrastructure hardware such as Cisco and Arista Routers and Switches
- Be proficient with command line interfaces (Arista EOS, Cisco Nexus, Aruba OS)
- Have a working knowledge of Python scripting
- An industry Certification such as a Cisco CCNA
- Experience with troubleshootingfixing Computer or Network Hardware
Responsibilities
- Assisting with customer cross connect turn-up and decommission
- Assisting with customer cloud-based turn-up and decommission
- Assisting with technical project planning, documentation and execution
- Assisting with datacenter connectivity in a latency equalized environment
- Assisting with Python scripting and network data analyzation
Other
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, or a related field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
- Candidates should be versatile, eager and able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive financial and technical environment.
- Prior Customer Service Experience regardless of the industry
- Flexible, hybrid work environment, 3 days in office, 2 days remote, per week.
