Verizon is looking for a Network Performance intern to work on projects that could enhance skills in areas such as 5G Technology, Network Performance Optimization and Management, and Radio Frequency Design, ultimately contributing to the company's network strength and innovation.
Requirements
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in waveforms and radio frequency spectrum.
- Experience with telecommunications.
- Knowledge of data analytics and data visualization, coding and scripting (Python, SQL).
- Knowledge of filters and signal modulation.
- Knowledge of WIFI, wireless or modern communication networks.
- Understanding of radio signal propagation (Industry Ex: Planet EV, Atoll).
- Knowledge of electromagnetics and optics.

Other
- Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule.
- Attendance at Verizon’s Irving V Teamer for a Day and currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science or related majors with a completion date between December 2028 and June 2029.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Willing and able to travel.
- Willing and able to relocate.
