Verizon is looking for a Network Performance intern to work on projects that enhance skills in areas such as 5G Technology, Network Performance Optimization and Management, Radio Frequency Design, NFV, SDN, Business Analytics, Programming, Data Warehousing, and Grafana/GitHub Network.
Requirements
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in waveforms and radio frequency spectrum.
- Experience with telecommunications.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of data analytics and data visualization, coding and scripting (Python, SQL).
- Knowledge of filters and signal modulation.
- Knowledge of WIFI, wireless or modern communication networks.
- Understanding of radio signal propagation (Industry Ex: Planet EV, Atoll).

Other
- Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science or related majors with a completion date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Willing and able to travel.
- Willing and able to relocate.
