Investigate the impact of screen time on brain function, mental health, and behavior using the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) dataset.
Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience with neuroimaging analysis software (FSL, SPM, or Afni) and relevant statistical analysis approaches.
- Experience with programming languages Matlab, R and/or Python.
- Experience with big data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or Open Office.
- Advanced data management and analytic skills.
- Experience developing scientific reports and publications
Responsibilities
- Conducting advanced statistical and computational analyses on neuroimaging, mental health, and behavioral datasets
- Applying machine learning techniques
- Contributing to scientific writing for publications and grant reporting
- Designing experiments
- Ensuring data integrity
- Engaging with a multidisciplinary team of neuroscientists, psychologists, and medical professionals
Other
- Master’s degree in neuroimaging or related discipline required.
- Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime)
- This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy
