ByteDance is looking to solve the problem of designing, building, and operating a global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance for its hyperscale data-center networking solutions.
Requirements

- Good network knowledge, such as OSI and TCP/IP model

- Basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS and BGP

- Understanding of basic public cloud concepts
-
- Hands-on experience of network devices, such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper etc
-
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud architecture, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, etc.

- Familiar with mainstream commercial switch/router chipsets, such as Broadcom, Barefoot etc.

- Programming/scripting in Python or other languages.
Responsibilities
- -Design, build, operate and optimize Bytedance's global network, including backbone, data center, public cloud and Edge/CDN.
- -Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to compute, storage, database, recommendation system, drive the innovation and evolution of Bytedance network.
