Justrite Safety Group is seeking an innovative New Product Development Engineer to drive product innovation from concept to production, developing and launching high-quality safety products that meet regulatory and market needs.
Requirements
- Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support the development of new products from ideation through design, prototyping, testing, and product launch.
- Conduct design feasibility studies, risk assessments, and DFMEA.
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) initiatives to optimize cost and production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Conduct R&D and all associated testing for NPD.
- Stay up to date on new methods, processes, and technologies to drive innovation.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, product design, or related field.
- Five years of experience in NPD.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and management skills.
- Travel when needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
