MillerKnoll is looking to redefine modern for the 21st century and needs to support key product and process strategies with an emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and setting project objectives for new product programs.
Requirements
- Fluency in new product development processes and a proven ability to lead teams in the conceptualization and implementation of new products.
- Thorough knowledge of project management concepts such as scheduling, MS Project, scope management and control, resource management, and budgeting; proven ability to apply these concepts successfully to manage projects to achieve business results.
- Demonstrated experience and results in establishing operational (manufacturing and logistics) excellence for the development and commercialization support of new products.
- Ability to effectively use office automation and communication software and tools used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
- Ability to direct and orchestrate project management work process activities for cross-functional internal and external resources.
- 4+ years operational experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with a focus on materials (fabric, laminate, powder coating, veneer and/or plastics).
Responsibilities
- Defines, locates, and secures internal and external manufacturing and assembly resources and establishes and maintains a network to support product design, development, and commercialization.
- Leads efforts to create and maintain product costs and capital investment throughout the project.
- Leads efforts to establish and validate value streams of all parts and products on a project.
- Leads efforts to validate system readiness of all products on a project.
- Supports efforts to ensure Manufacturing Readiness Levels are achieved at all stages of the product development process.
- Ensuring that Lean Manufacturing principles and Quality Operating Standards are reflected in all project results.
- Organizes, plans, and leads the New Product manufacturing and logistics implementation.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
