Requirements

  • Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C-Sharp, Rust
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience working directly with hardware/software Engineering teams
  • Experience with distributed systems at scale
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic Deployment Readiness projects with significant technical depth and breadth
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer acts as the subject matter expert for deploying, integrating, optimizing, and implementing new Robotics solutions during pre-GA phases
  • Provide iterative feedback on Work Instructions and execution plans to achieve consistent outputs
  • Resolve field issues and ensure root causes are addressed
  • Lead field trials, contribute to deployment guidelines and test plans/procedures in order to get Amazon Robotics solutions certified and deployed
  • Manage large third-party installation teams during the execution of Alpha and Beta deployments
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent
