Redline Plastics is looking to solve the problem of efficiently launching new products while meeting customer specifications and internal requirements of Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
Requirements
- General competencies within CAD software, preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering documents and drawings.
- General understanding of BOM structure, routings, and general manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the use of current technology, high level of comfort in standard MS products required.
- General knowledge in CAD software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
Responsibilities
- Gain a solid understanding of customer requirements verifying product manufacturability.
- Design manufacturing process of new product in the safest, most efficient, and repeatable way possible with both internal and external customers in mind.
- Will perform hands-on work based on process design to produce sample parts in accordance to known customer specifications.
- Train production employees to designed and approved process.
- Assist the documentation team in creating all new documents required which are relevant to each new project.
- Confirm or identify discrepancies in BOM’s.
- Verify process against key corporate metrics via formal audit process.

- Able to work independently, must be a self-starter and driven to meet deadlines.
