Requirements

3 years of relevant experience in developing scalable NGS workflow in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
- Direct experience in designing customized library preps across different high-throughput sequencing platforms. (Illumina, ONT
- Broad molecular biology and microbiology knowledge with the ability to apply scientific interpretation to solve problems.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in using and building both standard and customized bioinformatics pipeline.
- Proficiency in at least one of the common programming languages (Python, R, Java)
- Strong experience in analyzing biological datasets and various file formats (FASTQ, BAM, VCF etc.)
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize NGS library prep methods.
- Generate, analyze, interpret and present data to a broader team.
- Closely communicate with other teams to ensure smooth tech transfer
