@HYVE Solutions is looking to solve the problem of ensuring new server, storage, and networking solutions are thoroughly tested and validated before mass production, meeting customer specifications and maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

  • Can read or understand code and scripts made by others.
  • Experience with code repositories (Git, Bitbucket etc.) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience working with APIs and querying DBs.
  • Comfortable using Linux-based operating systems, PXE environment and the command line.
  • Proficiency with hardware interface tools and diagnostics.
  • Has worked with switches, network devices and power solutions (PDU, PSU, PSC etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and validate L11 Test Requirement Document (TRD) according to customer specifications.
  • Work closely with customers' engineering counterparts as well as our software engineering group to develop automation to scale for mass production.
  • Ensure all customer technical requirements are addressed in the testing of a solution.
  • Execute both server- and rack-level testing efficiently at scale while keeping shipment schedule and quality in mind.
  • Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis, as well as communicate issues to varying technical levels.
  • Create initial Test Process Instructions (TPI) and train production and sustaining engineers and employees on test processes for new NPI products.
  • Develop scripts to help improve day-to-day workload for the team.

Other

  • Work cross functionally with different design and quality teams during NPI and product bring up phases.
  • Ensure all new platforms are driven through the full development cycle from DVT, EVT, PVT to MP.
  • Interface with the customer regarding constant requirement changes, test blockers and schedule updates.
  • Support hardware engineering group in designing test fixtures and possible dashboard integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and team oriented.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, being methodical and analytical while having a critical mindset to identify test and process improvements.
  • Excellent time-management skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once at different stages.
