Nike needs to enhance the materials, color, and graphics of their most beloved franchise models to create world-class products for all athletes, ensuring timely product confirmation and sample delivery while meeting design intent, performance, costing, and sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of product construction concepts, materials, and the product creation life cycle
  • Knowledge of footwear pattern engineering, tooling or manufacturing processes is a plus

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and utilize footwear knowledge to drive results and appropriately achieve project designs.
  • You will apply fundamental understanding of multiple sports and standard methodologies to identify product and testing requirements and assure product performance through physical and field-testing (fit).
  • You will recommend and specify material, component and construction options to meet key features and product performance goals.
  • You will engage in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are completed on time, can be commercialized, manufactured, while meeting design intent performance, costing and sustainability goals.
  • You will execute product creation according to critical dates and performance/profitability goals.
  • You will work with your multi-functional teammates to ensure manufacturability of product concepts.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience in project management
  • Creative problem-solving skills from concepts to application.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple work streams with competing priorities to deliver on tight timelines
