The Ohio State University is looking to solve the problem of leading and coordinating daily workflow in the Nuclear Medicine Lab, including streamlined coordination of research trials, daily assignments, patient flow, and providing support to the operations of the department.
Requirements
- Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio Department of Health
- Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience with sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation (including SPECT and PET)
- Experience with computer processing and image enhancement
Responsibilities
- performs all duties of the Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist
- coordinates daily workflow, streamlined coordination of research trials, daily assignments, patient flow
- provides support to the operations of the department
- provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site
- maintenance of accreditation preparedness for the site
- assessing technologists’ performance for annual merit increases
- orient new staff to the department

- Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check
- A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, first shift
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
