Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking to advance the state-of-the-art in areas such as Generative AI Applications, Agentic Platforms, Reasoning and Planning, and Responsible AI, to deliver innovative services at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related technical field
- Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Data Science, or similar areas)
- Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multi-modality Models
- Knowledge of machine learning technologies and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with distributed, scalable, high-performance AI model training and serving systems
- Familiarity with state of art systems and cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI
Responsibilities
- leading the effort of building distributed, scalable, high-performance AI model training and serving systems
- diving deep into model structure to optimize model performance and scalability
- building state of art systems with cutting-edge technologies in this fast evolving area
- playing a key role in shaping the future of Generative AI at Oracle, with an emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multi-modality Models
- delivering new Generative AI-powered services for large scale enterprise customers
- building and operating massive-scale cloud services leveraging state of art machine learning technologies
- advancing the state-of-the-art in areas such as Generative AI Applications, Agentic Platforms, Reasoning and Planning, and Responsible AI
