Peraton is seeking an Okta Architect to provide architectural and big picture oversight for the development of new or enhanced products, focusing on implementing Okta solutions for large enterprises to resolve complex challenges such as federation and partner onboarding. The role aims to create sustainable, secure, and scalable solutions for varied DoD use cases, optimizing Okta implementations for security and fraud prevention.
Requirements
- Must have Okta certification at the Consultant level, Architect level certification preferred
- Must have or the ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
- Knowledge of NIST 800-63 publications and impacts on large scale Okta enterprise implementations
- Guide Lifecycle Management of identity solutions
- Monitoring industry developments and trends leading to recommendations to further optimize the Okta implementation focusing on security and fraud prevention improvements
- Consult on and review architectural diagrams (e.g. SV-1, Network)
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Okta best practices
Responsibilities
- Provides architectural and big picture oversight for development of new or enhanced products.
- Articulates the architectural vision, conceptualizes, and experiments with alternative architectural approaches, creates models and component and interface specification documents, and validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions.
- Works with various product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to create software products containing required features and modifications.
- Provides technical advice to other departments within the organization and may be responsible for integrating components built by product developers.
- Review and acclimate to customer enterprise ICAM solution needs with an eye to use cases that myAuth can solve
- Technical collaboration with implementation team and customer stakeholders (e.g. ad hoc and ongoing meetings) to guide the development of workflows and technical design; expert troubleshooting of the most challenging issues which may arise during solutioning and implementation
- Support activities to integrate a Remote Identity Proofing (RIDP) vendor and design solutions leveraging RIDP capabilities that provide proofed identities, enhanced fraud protection, and leverage RIDP vendor capabilities that may bring added value to the customer
