Support the design, integration, and verification of electro-mechanical and avionics systems in a regulated, compliance-driven engineering environment.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant aerospace or defense engineering experience.
- Familiarity with FAA, DO-160, DO-254, or MIL-STD-810 compliance standards.
- Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, Reqtify, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA V5, or AutoCAD.
- Experience with embedded systems or avionics software.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, analysis, and integration of electro-mechanical and avionics systems.
- Develop and execute system requirements, verification plans, and test procedures.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining system-level documentation (interface control documents, test reports, compliance records).
- Contribute to compliance with FAA, military, and industry standards such as DO-160, DO-254, and MIL-STD-810.
- Provide technical support during prototype builds, system testing, and production release.
