The Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University is seeking to fill an open rank tenured/tenure-track faculty position to contribute to the research, teaching, and service missions of the department.
Requirements
- Completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in Statistics or related field by the start of employment
- A commitment to a career-long program of forward-looking, innovative research in statistics
- A commitment to the development and delivery of high quality courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong record of training in statistics (for Assistant rank)
- Strong record of internal and external service (for Associate or Full rank)
- Record of funding commensurate with research area (for Associate or Full rank)
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in statistics
- Contribute to the teaching mission of the department at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Contribute to the service mission of the department
Other
