The Marzetti Company is looking for an Intern to join the Operations Team to assist in production line monitoring, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement projects focused on operational efficiencies, waste reduction, and labor optimization.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications, specifically Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Assist in production line monitoring or troubleshooting
- Support and drive continuous improvement projects focus on operational efficiencies, waste reduction, and labor optimization
- Record machine reliability data and analyze trends to suggest process improvements
- Prepare/update documentation related to work instructions, maintenance logs, and training materials while integrating into software-based programs
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex opportunities

- Observe safety and quality protocols
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with a focus on: Engineering, Food Science, and Chemistry.
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
