KBR's National Security Solutions team needs an Operations Research Analyst to conduct assessments and studies in support of the United States Space Force, impacting national security by designing and optimizing defense systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience
- General understanding of the United States Space Force missions and operations
- Willingness to learn about DoD space and joint force programs
- Knowledge of space operations, space capabilities, or experience in DoD space and joint force programs
- Familiarity with at least one of the Space Deltas and their respective mission areas
- Experience with Python, R, or other analytic software
- Experience with software development or the development of web-based applications
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and studies in support of the United States Space Force
- Serve on an analysis team of operations research analysts and operational military subject matter experts
- Coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarify management objectives
- Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
- Experience with military operational assessments
- In-depth experience with Space Force missions and operations
- Build analytic dashboards with visualizations of the underlying data
