KBR's National Security Solutions team needs an Operations Research Analyst- Associate to provide high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities, impacting the country's critical role in protecting national security and shaping the future of space reconnaissance.
Requirements
- Experience manipulating data from Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to self-teach analysis skills aligned with analysis best practices
- Ability combine and analyze disparate data for presentation to senior level decision makers
- Expertise in operational testing environments, surveillance and reconnaissance environments, and electromagnetic spectrum fields
- Familiarity with models approved for use in the Defense Intelligence Agency All-Source Analysis Enterprise (DIAAE)
- Familiarity with the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment process
- Experience programming with Python, MATLAB, C++ and SQL
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements new research objectives, establish project priorities, defines methods to approach and execute the study.
- Provides scientific conclusions and interpretations.
- Analyzes actual and predicted, interacting, and operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques.
- Participates in planning, scheduling, and coordinating selected analytical process phases or assists in working any selection of subcomponents of the process or system under analysis.
- Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, simulations, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.) and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines
- Applies extensive technical expertise and has knowledge of other related disciplines
- Guides the successful completion of analysis
Other
- Master’s degree in Analysis related field
- 7 years of analysis experience
- Ability to gain and hold a TS/SCI clearance
- Expected to deliver in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance
