Booz Allen needs an experienced operations research analyst to solve complex problems for clients by evaluating data assessment strategies, analyzing data, and developing recommendations for creative solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with mathematical or analytic methodologies, such as Operations Research Analysis (ORSA) or Data Science
- Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria
- Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects
- Experience with software programs that analyze data, such as R, Python, or SQL
- Experience with decision models, nodal or flow modeling, trending and forecasting, cost, or benefit analysis
- Experience with wargaming, simulation, or geospatial analysis
Responsibilities
- evaluate data assessment strategies such as mathematical and statistical modeling, data analysis, and decision support analytics processes to deliver solutions
- conduct research
- prepare graphs and charts
- analyze and interpret military programmatic or cost data using cost and benefit analyses, what-if analyses, optimization, and economic modeling
- develop working documents and presentations to include descriptive language and graphs to present results
- devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques such as probability models, statistical inference, simulations, and optimization along with other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines
- develop technologies and concepts that advance support to a Combatant Command's actions and activities in their area of responsibility

- Experience collaborating with other analysts in an integrated development environment
- TS/SCI clearance
