The Department of Defense program office needs subject matter expertise support for the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies and capabilities, specifically in cyberspace operations, non-kinetic effects, and systems integration, to address strategic and tactical challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with experimentation and innovation in the cyberspace domain.
- Cyber and Non-Kinetic Effects Expertise: Strong background in cyberspace operations
- Systems Integration Expertise: Strong background in the integration / operationalization of emerging technologies
- COMSEC & Cryptographic Handling: Experience securing classified communications, including encryption and key management.
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, STIG compliance, and network security best practices.
- Joint & DoD Communications Systems Familiarity: Experience working with military communications infrastructure, tactical radios, and mission networks.
- Formal cyber operations training
Responsibilities
- Operational Integration, Emerging Capabilities Development and Tactical Engagement: Leverage forward placement in the region to engage with operational units, accelerating decision-making and ensuring capabilities align with in-theater mission needs.
- Integrate current initiatives into operations by developing concepts of operations and tactics, techniques, and procedures for emerging capabilities, focusing on rapid capability development timelines and large-scale fielding through experiments and exercises.
- Provide Support as the Non-Kinetic Effects expert and Integration Officer.
- Serve as the SME touchpoint for Cyber and Non-Kinetic Effects, offering local expertise on cyber, electronic warfare, and electronic attack capabilities to active duty planners and capability developers.
- Facilitate collaboration between Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations teams, cyber planners, program leads, and project managers to capture and translate requirements into new capabilities.
- Expedite delivery of innovative war-altering capabilities by leveraging networks to connect performers, program offices, and warfighters with key stakeholders.
- Support future integration and operational employment of the capability and underlying family of systems.

- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Physical and program security: Ability to maintain an active classified working area to include all required documentation. Will report back to a government Security officer.
- Logistics coordination experience using military and commercial shipping methods to transport mission critical equipment and system components.
- Adaptability and Ability to deploy: Physically and mentally capable of deploying on short notice in support of customer initiatives.
- Training & Documentation: Ability to train personnel, develop SOPs, and provide field-based instruction.
